Arkansas-based fast-food chain Slim Chickens has opened its second Valley restaurant on the northwest corner of Happy Valley and 35th Avenue in Glendale.
The menu offers chicken sandwiches, tenders, wraps, bowls, and a choice of 14 dipping sauces.
Hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Other locations
Slim Chicken’s first Valley location opened in Maricopa in November, breaking the company’s global sales records by selling 3,000 pounds of chicken per day during opening week.
A third location is scheduled to open this summer at at the Loop 101 and Northern in Glendale.
Trying again
The current restaurants actually represent the chain’s second stab at the Arizona market. It made its ‘‘first’’ Arizona debut in Gilbert in 2016 and added a Chandler location in 2017.
By 2019, however, both had closed.
