👨🍳 Chicken Omega and Mediterranean Stuffed Gyros will be the co-entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The dinners, held in a private dining room, feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu.
This week’s courses
- Spicy Lamb Potatoes: Gyro meat potatoes with herbs and spices. Hand-formed and deep-fried. Served with homemade yogurt sauce and red onions.
- Greek Salad: Tomato, cucumber salad with onion, green peppers, and feta cheese tossed in olive oil and red wine vinegar. Garnished with Kalamata olives and pepperoncini.
- Chicken Omega: Strips of grilled chicken, spinach, pine nuts, garlic, and feta in rich white wine cream over linguini.
- Mediterranean Stuffed Gyros (pictured): Gyros stuffed with feta, roasted red pepper, capers, and sundried tomatoes. Topped with melted kasseri cheese and tomato slices, served with tomato feta focaccia and yogurt sauce.
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups: Chocolate-dipped waffle cone with peanut butter chocolate filling.
