🔥 The Mexicano , a Mexico City-inspired restaurant that opened in Paradise Valley in 2021, was damaged by a kitchen fire Saturday.
- Phoenix firefighters were able to confine the fire to the kitchen, where the fire apparently started near the oven and stove. No one was injured.
The background : The Mexicano is part of the Maggiore Restaurant Group ( Hash Kitchen , Sicilian Butcher , etc.). A second location is opening in Chandler this fall.
