🥙 The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, a Florida-based chain of counter-service restaurants, has opened its second Arizona location in southeast Gilbert.
- It’s located between Einstein Bros. Bagels and Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in the Gilbert Gateway Towne Center on the southwest corner of the Loop 202 and Power Road.
What’s on the menu? Salads, bowls, gyros, pitas, falafel, and souvlaki.
The background: The Great Greek, which started in Henderson, Nev., in 2011, made its Arizona debut in Scottsdale last fall.
- The fast-growing chain now has 64 restaurants in 18 states, with another 35 locations under construction.
- Other Valley locations are planned for Mesa, Chandler, and Queen Creek.
Open: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
