🍔 Longtime University of Arizona hangout Dirtbag’s, known for its signature ‘‘Dirtburgers’’ and creative shots, makes its Valley debut at 6 p.m. today in east Phoenix.
- The bar and grill has renovated the building formerly home to The Spot on the southeast corner of 48th Street and Indian School in Arcadia.
What’s on the menu? Burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and salads.
- Drinks include 14 beers on tap, buckets of bottles and cans of beer, wine by the glass, and 25 shots.
The background: The Tucson original, located next to the UA campus, debuted in 1988 and has been a go-to destination for Wildcats sports fans for pre-game and postgame festivities.
- The Phoenix location has one of the original jukeboxes from Tucson that plays ‘‘Sweet Caroline’’ every hour.
Open: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday, 8 a.m.-2 a.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday.
