🚫 OHSO Brewery & Distillery spinoff Little O’s abruptly closed its original Seventh Avenue location in Phoenix today.
What happened? ‘‘Our proprietor Summer has made the difficult decision to leave the desert,’’ the neighborhood hangout posted on social media. ‘‘Without her, we can’t continue.’’
The background: Little O’s, a mini version of OHSO with a market, made its debut on the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and McDowell Road in 2020.
- The concept was described as a way to reward longtime OHSO employees with the opportunity to open their own brewpub.
- Summer Anesin, one of OHSO’s original hires as a server in 2011, was a co-owner of the first location.
What now? There still are Little O’s in Arcadia and Sunnyslope in Phoenix. OHSO also has six brewpub locations throughout the Valley.
