👨🍳 Sainte Victoire and Penne Carbonara will be the co-entrees when Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert holds its weekly ‘‘Taste of Romeo’s’’ dinner at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The dinners, held in a private dining room, feature five courses selected from the restaurant’s regular menu.
This week’s courses
- Portobellini: Grilled Portobello mushroom with roasted peppers, basil pesto, garlic, and kasseri cheese.
- Mandarin Dijon Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken, black olives, mandarin oranges, peas, carrots, water chestnuts, pecans, hearts of palm, and pineapple tossed in light honey Dijon dressing over mixed greens.
- Sainte Victoire: Broiled chicken topped with kasseri cheese and a raspberry-honey Dijon sauce served with sautéed vegetables.
- Penne Carbonara: Ham and bacon sautéed with red and green bell peppers in creamy cheese sauce with penne pasta.
- Dangerous Dilema: Fudgy dark chocolate cake with a white chocolate cream layer, finished with a raspberry liqueur sauce.
