🐓 Chick-fil-A has opened its first ‘‘elevated drive-thru concept’’ – four drive-thru lanes with an over-sized kitchen on the second floor (but no dining room) – in metro Atlanta. Food is sent down on conveyor belts to workers who deliver it to diners. Several fast-food chains are working on similar designs.

🧋 McDonald’s, which suffered its first sales drop in more than four years in July, has introduced a mini version of its McFlurry dessert. Both the mini and regular versions will switch to more environmentally friendly four-flap cups.

🍔 Habit Burger & Grill (which recently tweaked its name from The Habit Burger Grill) just brought back its fan-favorite Basil Pesto Chicken Sandwich and popular Roasted Garlic Cauliflower side for a limited time.
