This weekend’s top food & drink events around the Valley

🍽️ Arizona Restaurant Week kicks off its fall edition today and runs through next Sunday, Sept. 29. More than 230 participating restaurants are offering special three-course prix-fixe menus for $33, $44, or $55 per person. See the menus.

🌮 Loco Patron, the Mexican brewery and kitchen in Old Town Scottsdale, celebrates its 20th anniversary all day Saturday with Loco koozies, an ice luge, DJs, giveaways, and more. Admission is free.

🍺 Pinnacle Brewing Company, which launched in May in north Scottsdale, holds its first Oktoberfest starting at noon Saturday with Marzen and Festbier releases, German-themed food from Fire & Braids, contests, and music, Admission is free.

🧄 Queen Creek Olive Mill starts its 11th annual Garlic Festival at 10 a.m. Saturday with a garlic-inspired menu, cooking demos, a garlic-themed tractor tour, and more. The festival concludes next weekend. Admission is free.

🍺 Papago Brewing at Mesa Riverview hosts its annual Hopegeddon event from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday featuring hard-to-find and specialty IPAs. There will be special tappings throughout the day and throwback swag. Admission is free.
