🍺 Skunked!
For the first time in three decades, Arizona breweries failed to win a single medal at this year’s prestigious Great American Beer Festival in Denver.
GABF, the world’s largest commercial beer competition, judged more than 9,200 beers from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
The last time Arizona breweries were shut out at GABF was 1995. The state won six medals (one gold, two silver, and three bronze) last year.
In comparison, California picked up 71 medals this year. Colorado got 41 and Oregon 38.
