This weekend’s top food & drink events in the Valley

🎨 Pita Jungle will host local Hispanic artist Kathryn Sesma, better known as La Jefa, for a special live painting event at their Uptown location from 6-9 p.m. tonight. The sale of the painting will benefit Community Comadres.

🌮 The annual Taco Fest, which will feature more than 30 restaurants and food vendors, runs 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. General admission is $15; food and drink cost extra.

🎀 Serranos Mexican Restaurants will hold their sixth annual Pink Out for breast cancer from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at all three East Valley locations. Specials include a margarita sampler ($10.99) and stacked enchiladas ($12.99).

🇮🇹 Sample Italian foods and wines at the ninth annual Italian Festival from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Scottsdale Waterfront. General admission is $15 in advance or $25 at the gate; food and wine extra.

🍺 The AZ Craft Beer Awards Festival, which celebrates the third annual AZ Craft Beer Awards (which were announced Oct. 5), will be held noon-5 p.m. Saturday at Centerpoint Plaza in downtown Tempe. Tickets start at $50.

🎀 Eleven bars in downtown Chandler will participate in the 11th annual Save Second Base Pub Crawl starting at noon Saturday. Tickets are $75 and include a drink at each bar, a T-shirt, and a swag bag.
