🥃 Arizona Distilling Co., the second-oldest craft distillery in Arizona, is permanently closing its Tempe location this weekend. Its final day will be Sunday.
The closure comes as the distillery moves its production to its year-old location in downtown Mesa.
ADC launched in 2012 in a small industrial park on the northwest corner First Street and Farmer Avenue. Its flagship Copper City Bourbon became the first legally distilled spirit in the state since Prohibition.
In 2016, ADC moved to its present location on the southwest corner of University Drive and Roosevelt.
The Mesa location, which features a horseshoe-shaped copper bar, is 10,000 square feet – nearly double the size of the Tempe one.
Although no food has been served at the Mesa location, co-owner Jon Eagen says that will soon change.
