Ahwatukee’s Kolache Cafe opens 2nd location in Mesa

🍎 The Kolache Cafe, an Ahwatukee bakery specializing in its namesake Czech pastries, soft-opens a second location today in Mesa.

It takes over the space formerly home to Ike’s Love & Sandwiches near the northwest corner of Gilbert and Southern.

Owners Jose and Bebe Leal, who introduced their concept in 2020, sell nearly 30 kinds of traditional fruit-filled kolaches, as well as a dozen savory varieties.

Three more East Valley locations are in the works.

Open for breakfast and lunch daily.
