This weekend’s top food & drink events around the Valley

🍷 Vineyards in the Valley, a three-day wine festival supporting healthcare initiatives in Haiti, runs through Saturday with wine tastings, food pairings, VIP dinners, and a charity auction at various Scottsdale locations.

🍺 Mesa brewery Beer Research Institute celebrates its 10th anniversary from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday with three new beer releases, an updated food menu, anniversary glasses and T-shirts, flash tattoos, and hourly prizes.

🍕 The ninth annual Phoenix Pizza Festival will include live music, a vendors market, and a kids zone from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Margaret T. Hance Deck Park in downtown Phoenix. Tickets are $16.

🥒 The annual Scottsdale Pickle Festival takes place noon-8 p.m. Saturday at Wasted Grain in Old Town Scottsdale. Tickets are $15-$45 and include a pickle-back whiskey shot, photo ops, and giveaways.

🍺 Check out more than 100 craft beers, meads, ciders, spirits, and hard seltzers made in Arizona at Arizona Barrels, Bottles & Brews from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale. Tickets are $60-$85.

🥃 Sample whiskeys from around the world – along with food trucks, music, and more – at the inaugural Copper State Whiskey Festival from 5-10 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Square Park in downtown Phoenix. Tickets are $80-$175.

🇸🇻 The Arizona Pupusas Festival honors El Salvador’s national food from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Stratus Event Center in west Phoenix. The festivities include music, dancing, and, of course, lots of pupusas. Tickets are $15-$20.
