🐓 Full Speed Chicken & Ribs, the fast-casual sibling of acclaimed Little Miss BBQ, has closed after seven months in downtown Phoenix.
Full Speed had opened in the former Trapp Haus BBQ space on the southeast corner of Roosevelt and Fifth Street in late April.
The menu featured fried chicken thighs and tenders (Southern, medium hot, or hottie hot hot), pork ribs, chicken and pork sandwiches, buttermilk biscuits, pimento cheese and crackers, and strawberry shortcake biscuits.
‘‘We made some great fried chicken and barbecue, yet it never seemed to catch fire,’’ owner Scott Holmes posted on social media.
He added: ‘‘We look forward to many future successes and some failures with all of you as we keep moving forward at Little Miss BBQ.’’
