🍝 American Way Pasta, a sit-down Italian restaurant featuring a variety of freshly made pastas, has opened in the Safeway plaza on the southwest corner of Elliot and 48th Street in Ahwatukee.
It takes over the space formerly home to Ghett Yo Wings.
Most pasta and risotto dishes range from $16-$23. The exception: the signature cacio e pepe (‘‘cheese and pepper’’) served table-side in a pecorino cheese wheel (pictured, $28).
A full bar offers wine, beer, and cocktails.
Open noon-9 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
