🇪🇸 Telefèric Barcelona, a Spanish restaurant specializing in tapas and paella, will make its Arizona debut at Scottsdale Fashion Square in 2025.
The restaurant debuted in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain, in 1992, and later added a location in nearby Barcelona. It then came to the U.S., where it has five locations in California.
The 6,676-square-foot Scottsdale venue will offer coastal cuisine with a Californian twist.
Patatas bravas and croquettes (crispy potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce), pulpo Telefèric (grilled octopus with pimentón potato purée), and gambas al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) will be highlights of the tapas menu.
Signature paellas will include Paella Negra (made with squid ink, shrimp, and octopus) and Lobster Paella.
For those with substantial appetites and wallets, a 40-ounce Catalan Tomahawk steak featuring beef imported from Spain will cost $120.
The beverage program will offer premium Spanish wines and sangrias, and also feature porróns (glass pitchers used to pour wine directly into the mouth).
Telefèric Barcelona is just one of several high-profile restaurants that are part of Scottsdale Fashion Square’s latest renovation. Others include Catch, Din Tai Fung, and the just-opened Elephanté.
