🍕 Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen, an international chain based in Houston, has made its Arizona debut at Cannon Beach in southeast Mesa.
The new surf park is located on the southeast corner of Power and Warner. It plans to eventually include 500,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, two hotels, and more.
Russo’s pizzas are made with California-grown tomatoes, mozzarella cheese from Wisconsin, and olive oil imported directly from Italy.
Pizzas start at $16.95 for a 12-inch cheese pie, $19.95 for a 16-inch, and $64.95 for a 28-inch. Slices from a 28-inch pie start at $7.95.
Russo’s also offers 16-inch ‘‘Brooklyn square’’ specialty pizzas starting at $24.95.
The menu also offers three calzones ($16.95), 16 pasta dishes ($12.95-$22.95), five sandwiches ($12.95-$15.95), salads, and appetizers. Beer and wine is available.
Founder Anthony Russo opened his first storefront in Houston in 1992. It has grown to more than 50 U.S. locations, mostly in Texas, and has others in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Qatar.
