🏈 Devil’s Advocate, a large Tempe sports bar popular with ASU students, announced it will close Dec. 28.
It has operated for the past 15 years near the southeast corner of Rural and University.
‘‘It’s bittersweet to say goodbye, but we are truly grateful to have been part of something so special,’’ owner Jarred Stetser says in the announcement posted on social media.
The sports bar is being replaced by what it it calls ‘‘an exciting new development project in the area.’’ The project is not identified.
