Rollin Smoke BBQ makes Arizona debut in Avondale

🍖 Rollin Smoke Barbeque, which has four restaurants in Las Vegas, has made its Arizona debut at Gateway Pavilions on the northwest corner of McDowell and 99th Avenue – just off I-10 – in Avondale.

The menu features what it calls ‘‘Arkansas-style’’ barbecue, including ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, hot links, brisket, catfish, and shrimp. But the signature item is the smoked meatloaf, which has been featured on the Travel Channel.

You can buy meat by the pound, in a sandwich, or on a plate. Sides include dirty rice, green beans, yams, fried okra, collard greens, and cornbread.

Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
