Seasonal tapas bar Mixela launches in midtown Phoenix

🍽️ Mixela, a globally inspired tapas bar from owner and chef Gian Franco Brugaletta, has opened on the northwest corner of 24th Street and Osborn in Phoenix.

The seasonal menu from Brugaletta, whose roots are in Venezuela and Italy, ranges from Prosciutto di Parma croquetas ($12) to Chinese five-spice chicken skewers ($12) to green chile beef empanadas ($12).

There’s also a selection of sushi, and an every-day deal features a bruschetta board and bottle of wine for $30.

Hours are 4-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 4-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
