🍕 Patricia’s Pizza, a new restaurant from The Italian Daughter owner Melissa Maggiore Meyer, has opened in the Safeway/Target shopping center on the northeast corner of Scottsdale and Ashler Hills in far north Scottsdale.
The wood-fired pizzeria takes its name from the first eatery opened by her Sicilian father – legendary Valley chef and restaurateur Tomaso Maggiore – in Garnerville, N.Y., in the 1970s and named for her mother.
Her brother, Joey, now runs the family’s fast-expanding restaurant empire, which includes Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Butcher, The Sicilian Baker, The Italiano, The Rosticceria, and The Mexicano. Maggiore Meyer launched The Italian Daughter in north Scottsdale in 2021, shortly after her father died.
Patricia’s Pizza offers two styles of pies – 17 Neapolitan ($14-$22) and five square Sicilian (available in three sizes from $10-$45). The menu also offers panuozzo (pizza crust sandwiches), pasta, bruschetta, and more.
Lunch service starts Friday, when hours expand to 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
