🍷 Wine Down Lounge, whose elevated menu features a clever twist on charcuterie boards it calls ‘‘jarcuterie,’’ has opened in the former Peacock Wine Bar space on the southeast corner of Gilbert and Baseline in Gilbert.
The signature starter features small jars filled with an artful arrangement of gourmet meats, cheeses, and accompaniments (pictured).
In addition, the menu offers bruschetta, stacked salads, pressed panini sandwiches, flatbreads, quesadillas, bar snacks, and traditional charcuterie boards.
The wine list showcases renowned vineyards from around the globe. Wine tastings, wine classes, and live music are planned.
Winter hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
