🧆🍕 Shish kebabs or pizza for dinner? You don’t have to choose one or the other at Shish & Slices, a new fast-casual eatery offering Mediterranean food and Italian-style pizzas on the northwest corner of Apache and McClintock in Tempe.
During its current soft opening, only the Mediterranean side of the menu is available, but the owners expect to start slinging pizzas soon – as early as this week.
For now, though, the starters are hummus ($5.49), baba ghanoush ($5.49), dolmeh ($10.99), and falafel ($12.99). There are four salads ($5.99) and 10 wraps ($5.99-$9.99).
For larger appetites, plates include kebabs (pictured, $14.99), beef or chicken shawarma ($14.99-$15.99), falafel bites ($13.99), and lamb chops ($18.99).
Hours are 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
