🍛 Peacock Indian Bar & Grill, an Indian fine-dining restaurant already drawing rave reviews, has opened on the northeast corner of Scottsdale and Bell in north Scottsdale.
It takes over the strip-mall space formerly home to Famiglia Modern Italian Trattoria and, before that, Uncorked Wine Lounge & Eatery.
The menu, under the direction of executive chef Sujit Mukheejee, ranges ‘‘from the bustling streets of Delhi to the coastal spice of Kerala.’’ Highlights include butter chicken ($22), lamb korma ($26), and goat vindaloo ($25).
The bar offers cocktails, wines by the glass or bottle, draft and bottled beers, and more.
Hours are 5-10 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and 5-10:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Closed Tuesday.
