Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken & Wings expands to Phoenix

🐓 Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken and Wings, a national chain of quick-serve Cajun chicken restaurants, has opened its second Valley location on the southwest corner of Indian School and 27th Avenue in west Phoenix.

The concept, which made its Arizona debut in Chandler in 2017, offers combo meals with fried chicken, traditional or boneless wings, fried fish, and fried shrimp, as well as gumbo, red beans and rice – even egg rolls and fried rice.

Ironically, the chain has no connection to its namesake state. It was started in Los Angeles by Michigan native Joseph Dion in 1976.

Today, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken has more than 150 franchises, of which about 80 percent are owned and operated by Cambodians.

Hours are 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
