The Kolache Cafe expands with 3rd East Valley location

🥯 The Kolache Cafe, a locally owned bakery specializing in its namesake Czech pastries, has opened its third location on the northwest corner of Alma School and Guadalupe in southwest Mesa.

Owners Jose and Bebe Leal introduced their concept in Ahwatukee in 2020, selling nearly 30 kinds of traditional fruit-filled kolaches ($2.89 apiece), as well as a dozen savory varieties ($3.89 each) typically associated with Texas.

They launched a second location near the northwest corner of Gilbert and Southern in east-central Mesa in November.

Two more locations are in the works – at Val Vista and Mercy (just south of the Loop 202) in Gilbert and Ellsworth and Elliott in southeast Mesa.

Hours are 6 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.
