ComicX to close Feb. 23 after 5 years at Desert Ridge Marketplace

💥 ComicX, a Mexico-based chain of comic book-themed restaurants, is closing its first U.S. location after five years at Desert Ridge Marketplace in northeast Phoenix.

‘‘After years of serving amazing food, sharing unforgettable moments, and building a community of incredible fans, ComicX Phoenix will be closing its doors for the last time on Sunday, February 23rd,’’ the restaurant posted on social media.

ComicX serves street tacos and fajitas, but also burgers, pizza, pasta, and other entrees. It has a full bar, arcade games, and a store that sells comic book collectibles.

‘‘We’d love to see you one last time! Join us for one last meal, one last toast, and one last chance to celebrate the adventure we’ve shared,’’ the restaurant posted. ‘‘Let’s make these final days legendary!’’
