👨🍳 Romeo’s Euro Cafe in downtown Gilbert will host its monthly ‘‘3rd Tuesday’’ food and wine pairing – featuring three seasonal dishes paired with three wines – at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The menu and wine pairings:
- First course: Chopped quinoa salad with red onions, mango, cucumber, celery, green pepper, tomato, feta, and mint layered over an avocado lime base. Toasted Italian roll sliced with goat cheese, smoked salmon, cracked pepper, and fresh dill. (Borne of Fire Chardonnay 2019)
- Second course: Pan-seared pork chop on a bed of braised red cabbage, creamed sweet potatoes, and caramelized apples. Served with an apple brandy mustard cream sauce. (Trivento Red Blend 2018)
- Third course: Chocolate tulips filled with blackberry puree and dark chocolate raspberry ganache.
