🐓 Is Peruvian rotisserie chicken finally becoming a thing in the Valley?
Mi Corralito Charbroiled Peruvian Chicken has opened in the old Tacos Chiwas space in the Pep Boys Plaza near the northwest corner of Alma School and Warner in Chandler.
It follows the opening of another Peruvian chicken eatery – Mr. Pio, one of my top 10 new restaurants of 2024 – in Arcadia in November.
Compared to Mr. Pio, Mi Corralito has a more expansive menu. Besides its signature rotisserie chicken ($12 half, $20 whole), it serves wok-sauteed chicken and beef, panko-breaded chicken, sliced hot dogs, and more.
There’s also a small retail section of Peruvian food products.
Open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
