🍔 Bubba’s 33, a Kentucky-based restaurant and ‘‘garage bar’’ concept from the founder of Texas Roadhouse, has opened its third Valley location on the southeast corner of I-10 and Warner in south Tempe.
The late Kent Taylor created Bubba’s – a sports bar known for its pizzas, burgers, and wings – 12 years ago, a departure from the steak-centered Texas Roadhouse he founded 20 years earlier.
Menu highlights include a spicy habanero burger ($15.29 with fries), chicken and bacon mac and cheese ($15.99), and the Dick Vitale-inspired Dickie V pizza with Italian sausage and cherry peppers ($17.99 for 12-inch).
The 7,700-square-foot Tempe location features a dining room, bar and open-air garage, and wall-to-wall TVs.
Bubba’s made its Arizona debut in Peoria in 2018 and added a Goodyear location last November.
Open for 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday-Saturday.
