🐖 Chicharron Shack, a restaurant offering Domican and Puerto Rican dishes, has opened near the southeast corner of Glendale and 47th Avenue in Glendale.
The streamlined menu offers both chicharrones de pollo (pieces of crispy fried chicken) or chicharrones de cerdo (pork belly) with a choice of tostones (fried plantain chips) or seasoned fries for $15.95.
Also available: pastelitos (Dominican-style beef empanadas, $8.95).
Open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-3 p.m. Saturday.
