🍳 Chilaquiles Modern Kitchen, an eight-year-old Mexican brunch eatery in west Mesa, has opened a second location in east Mesa.
The family-operated restaurant’s new location is at the Superstition Gateway West shopping mall on the southwest corner of U.S. 60 and Signal Butte.
As the name suggests, chilaquiles – available with two over-medium eggs with a choice of red sauce, green sauce, or tomatillo salsa ($19.80-$22) – are the highlight of the menu.
There’s also chilaquiles tortas, chilaquiles burritos, and a build-your-own chilaquiles option.
The wide-ranging menu also offers pancakes, waffles, skillets, tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and more.
Open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
