🍦 Artisan ice cream shop Sweet Republic has opened its fourth location near the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Second Street in Old Town Scottsdale.
It takes over the space formerly home to Tom’s Incredible Ice Cream and, before that, Unbaked.
Helen Yung and Jan Wichayanupar launched Sweet Republic in central Scottsdale in 2008 and added shops in Phoenix in 2014 and Tempe in 2020.
Sweet Republic sells nearly two dozen flavors of all-natural ice creams and sorbets, led by its best-selling salted caramel swirl. March specials include dill pickle and mango sticky rice.
Open noon-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and noon-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
