Da Kitchin Grill, an all-day restaurant that’s been under construction since 2022, finally has soft-opened in Ahwatukee.
The new concept from Charles Stewart, a former managing partner at Biscuits and Cactus Jack’s, takes over the former Trattoria D’Amico space on the northeast corner of 48th Street and Warner.
Breakfast options lean on Southern comfort foods like biscuits and gravy ($10.99), chicken and waffles ($15.99), and country-fried steak and eggs ($15.99).
Lunch highlights include a two-patty smashburger topped with an over-easy egg ($16.99 with fries), a three-layer Monte Cristo sandwich ($15.99 with fries), and garlic butter broiled oysters ($19.99).
Soft-opening hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Dinner hours to come.
