🚧 Glenrosa, a much-anticipated Sonoran wood-fired restaurant, will open Saturday, April 5, at Grass Clippings Rolling Hills Golf Course in north Tempe.
But James Beard-nominated chef Samantha Sanz (Talavera, Virtú Honest Craft, Elements) no longer is partnering with the 5,800-square-foot restaurant.
Instead, Sanz, who is moving to Texas, has enlisted former Four Seasons colleague Victor Davila to take over as executive chef. Like Sanz, Davila is a native of Sonora.
Glenrosa’s menu will focus on family-style platters with ribeye, tortillas, roasted vegetables, rice, and beans, along with tacos, salads, and salsas.
