Jamie’s Bottle Shop launches in Old Town Scottsdale

🍷 Jamie’s Bottle Shop, a wine bar and retail shop from Wrigley Mansion owner Jamie Hormel, has opened in Old Town Scottsdale.

It takes over the former River Trading Post art gallery space near the southeast corner of Goldwater and Main.

The 2,300-square-foot store stocks more than 700 bottles priced from $15 to $15,000.

A Champagne Room will host weekly tastings and education classes. A Reserve Room is a temperature- and humidity-controlled space that houses older and rare wines.

“As we crafted the vision for Jamie’s Bottle Shop, I knew that if the concept was going to have my name on the door, it needed to be a space where wine lovers can explore without the pretension — whether you’re a seasoned sommelier or just starting your wine education journey,” Hormel says.

Customers can purchase bottles to take home or enjoy at one of the shop’s tasting tables with a sandwich, salad, or charcuterie board.

Menu highlights include a pressed ham and cheese sandwich on artisan bread, seasonal market salads, and charcuterie boards featuring sliced-to-order meats and cheeses, curated jams, and pickled vegetables.

Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.
