Crackers & Co. Cafe, the popular East Valley breakfast and lunch concept, is closing its Tempe location after 24 years.
‘‘It is with upmost regret to inform you our landlord has denied renewing our lease,’’ the restaurant posted on social media.
‘‘Thereby, our Tempe location (1285 W. Elliot Rd.) will be closing in the near future. We will update you as soon as we sort things out.’’
Crackers & Co. will continue to operate two restaurants in Mesa – one near Country Club and the U.S. 60 and another near Greenfield and Brown.
The menu features creative dishes like Tamale Carnitas Benedict, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and Crackers Club sandwich.
The house specialty, however, is made-from-scratch soups – five varieties (plus chili) made every day.
