🚧 There’s finally some news for those wondering if award-winning Mexican restaurant Cocina Madrigal is ever going to reopen.
The Phoenix landmark, which has been closed since a kitchen fire in March 2024, finally is beginning renovations and expects to reopen by this fall.
In the meantime, Cocina Madrigal has launched a food truck in a vacant lot just 200 feet west of the restaurant.
The food truck, which serves about 80 percent of the restaurant’s menu, offers sit-down service on a covered patio with misters.
The food truck is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.
USA Today named Cocina Madrigal one of its top 100 places to eat in the United States in 2020. It ranked No. 1 on Yelp’s list of the top 100 places to eat in 2022.
