Burrito Express & Circle K launch 1st ‘‘Fast & Fresh’’ hub in Gilbert

🌯 Coming soon to a Circle K near you – Burrito Express?

The convenience store and the East Valley-based Mexican chain are partnering on a ‘‘hub-and-spokes’’ model in which Circle K will host central kitchens that will support smaller delivery sites for Burrito Express.

The first ‘‘Fast & Fresh’’ hub recently opened at the Circle K on the northeast corner of Val Vista and Riggs in south Gilbert.

Another five hubs – four in the East Valley and one in Scottsdale – are in the works, and nine others are under consideration.

The ‘‘Fast & Fresh’’ menu offers four breakfast burros: steak, egg, potato, tomatoes, and onion; potato and egg; chorizo, egg, and potato; and bacon, egg, ham, potato, and cheese) for $7.39 each.

There also are four lunch burros: steak, potato, and cheese; chicken, potato, and cheese; bean and cheese; and chicken, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cheese) for $4.49-$7.39.

The burros are available 6 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
