Sexy Burger
🍔 Antibiotic- and hormone-free wagyu burgers with scratch-made sauces and preservative-free buns are the focus at Sexy Burger, located between Third and Fifth Streets on the west side of Mill in downtown Tempe. Sides include white truffle fries cooked in beef tallow and chile-salted onion rings. Draft beers and cocktails are available. Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday.

🥢 Sono Kitchen & Boba, a fast-casual Asian fusion concept from Sedona and Flagstaff, has made its Valley debut near Chipotle and Kona Grill at SanTan Village in Gilbert. Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chicken is the highlight of the menu. Other street food snacks include gyoza, steamed soup dumplings, and Japanese shrimp. Open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Playa Bowl
🥣 Former NFL player Roosevelt Nix-Jones has opened Playa Bowls, an açai bowl franchise, near the northwest corner of Thomas and 46th Street in east Phoenix. It’s the New Jersey-based chain’s fourth location in Arizona. Open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
