
😎 Vybe – an immersive restaurant with wall-to-wall video imagery, roaming performers, and rotating DJs – has opened at The Forum entertainment complex on the west side of Gilbert Road about halfway between Germann and Queen Creek in south Chandler.
A globally inspired menu ranges from sushi to chicken parmesan to coq au vin. There’s also burgers, flatbread pizzas, steaks, and barbecue.
Vybe is the final component to open at The Forum, which also includes a casual neighborhood bar, a swanky lounge, karaoke suites, and a 200-seat multipurpose hall.
Vybe is open 3-10 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 3-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 3-10 p.m. Sunday. (The bar area opens for happy hour from 3-6 p.m. The restaurant opens at 5 p.m.)
Sakura Sushi
🍣 Sakura Sushi (pictured) has opened its third all-you-can-eat restaurant in the former Cogburn’s space on the southeast corner of Cooper and Warner in Gilbert. Prices are $19.99 for lunch and $29.99 for dinner (a la carte pricing also is available on sushi rolls, sashimi, tempura and bento boxes). Open 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
Qdoba
🌮 Qdoba, a San Diego-based chain of fast-casual Mexican restaurants, has opened near the southwest corner of Ray and 50th Street in Ahwatukee. The menu offers tacos, quesadillas, chile con queso, and tortilla soup. Open 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
