Nami Korean Kitchen & Sushi opens Korean market in Phoenix

🍜 Nami Korean Kitchen & Sushi, a north Phoenix restaurant that debuted just over a year ago, has launched a sibling business, Nami’s Market.

Both are located in the small shopping center on the east side of Cave Creek halfway between Union Hills and Beardsley.

Grab-and-go meals include stir-fried pork and kimchi, kimbap bulgogi, seafood pancakes, Spam and sausage stew, and spicy marinated squid.

In addition, there are nine kinds of kimchi and more than 50 types of banchan (sides). Groceries will be available soon.

Open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

Hash Kitchen

>> Hash Kitchen is closing its north Scottsdale restaurant on the southwest corner of Frank Lloyd Wright and Thompson Peak Parkway at the end of May. The Maggiore Group brunch concept’s second-ever location opened in 2016. It will leave Hash Kitchen with six Valley locations. Two others are in the works.

Krispy Dogz

>> Krispy Dogz, a family-owned Korean corn dog eatery on the southeast corner of Chandler and 32nd Street in Ahwatukee, has closed after 22 months. Besides corn dogs, the menu offered popcorn chicken, dumplings, egg rolls, kimchi fries, and more.

Phoenix chef on ‘Chopped’ tonight

>> Devan Cunningham, chef and co-owner of Southern comfort food restaurant CC’s on Central in Phoenix, competes on the Food Network’s ‘‘Chopped’’ tonight. The episode, called ‘‘Snail Caviar Dreams,’’ airs at 5 p.m. and repeats at midnight on most TV platforms (check listings for your specific provider).

Amici Pizza to open 2nd location
