🍦 Nite Creamery, a Cali-born dessert lab known for freezing its scoops of ice cream with liquid nitrogen, has landed in Arizona, and it’s already turning heads (and taste buds).
With billowing clouds of vapor and Instagram-ready creations like pineapple picante and salted caramel crunch, the shop on the northeast corner of Rural and Apache isn’t your average scoop shop.
It’s science, sugar, and a little showbiz, all in one bite. The liquid nitrogen freezes in a matter of seconds, giving ice cream a thicker, creamier taste while avoiding freezer burn or a grainy texture.
So far, dessert die-hards and late-night cravers are lapping it up. In the month since Nite Creamery opened, it’s garnered nearly 600 Google reviews and a perfect 5.0-star rating.

Cirinos Pizza in Mesa
🍕 Cirino’s Pizza, which specializes in 12-inch wood-fired pizzas, has opened on the northwest corner of Mesa and Second Avenue in downtown Mesa. The menu also offers fire-roasted wings in either mild BBQ sauce or lemon pepper dry rub. Cirino’s has the same owners as The Bread & Honey House and the upcoming Paco’s Tacos & Sips, which are located in the same plaza.
Bunzee in Glendale
🍔 Bunzee, a family-run restaurant offering burgers, wings, and wraps, has opened on the northwest corner of 51st Avenue and Northern in Glendale. Popular burgers include the Bunzee Burger (topped with cheese, grilled pineapple, and avocado) and the Hot Cheetos Burger (topped with nacho cheese, jalapeños, and Hot Cheetos).

🍔 Shake Shack is offering a BOGO deal on its $9.99 Double Shackburger through Monday. To get the deal, you have to order from an in-restaurant kiosk, or for delivery or pick-up via their mobile app or website using the code DADMODE at checkout.
🍦 McDonald’s has debuted a new McFlurry flavor for summer. The Hershey’s S’mores McFlurry has vanilla soft serve blended with Hershey’s milk chocolate, graham crackers, and marshmallow. The chain also has brought back its Chocolate Chip Frappe for a limited time this summer.
🥤 Chick-fil-A has launched a new Peach Frosted Lemonade – featuring lemonade, Icedream frozen dairy dessert, and peaches – this week as a limited-time beverage. It joins the chain’s Peach Milkshake, which returns for its 16th summer.
