Sphinx Date Co. gift shop to relocate

🌴 Sphinx Date Co. Palm & Pantry, the iconic Old Town Scottsdale gift shop specializing in Medjool date products, plans to relocate this summer after three decades on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and Earll.

The move is due to what the nearly 75-year-old company, originally known as Sphinx Date Ranch, says is a ‘‘sudden and unexpected change in the lease terms of its current location.’’

Co-owners Sharyn and Rebecca Seitz have not identified a new location yet.
