Litchfield Park’s Transplant City Beer Company loses its lease

🍺 Transplant City Beer Company, a small craft brewery across the street from the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, has lost its lease.

‘‘The time we had hoped wouldn’t come has arrived – our lease will not be renewed at our current location,’’ TCBC posted on social media. ‘‘While we knew this was a possibility, we truly wished for a different outcome.

‘‘For almost 7 years, TCBC has been more than just a business – it’s been a place where memories were made, stories were shared, and friendships grew. We are incredibly grateful to all of you who have supported us, laughed with us, and made TCBC feel like home.

‘‘At this time, we don’t have answers about what the future holds for TCBC, but we’ll keep you updated – including when our final day will be.

‘‘In the meantime, we invite you to stop by, share your favorite memories, and raise a glass with us. Let’s celebrate everything we’ve built together.’’

TCBC was launched in 2018 by homebrewing partners Justin Egbert and Paul Power, Valley transplants from California and Idaho. In 2021, it moved into a larger, Pueblo-style building next door.

Its popular beers include Crispy Beerds lager, Paulie the Pill pilsner, and Hop Me Amadeus hazy IPA.

TCBC asks fans not criticize its landlord.

‘‘Negative comments toward the landlord or the City of Litchfield will not be tolerated,’’ the brewery posted. ‘‘We are thankful to have had the opportunity to operate as a small business in this community, and we appreciate their support over the years.’’
