Urban Fraiche opens Mediterranean restaurant in Phoenix

🥗 Urban Fraiche Restaurant, a farm-to-table Mediterranean eatery focused on healthy ingredients, has opened on the southeast corner of Central and Camelback in uptown Phoenix.

The space formerly was home to Oak on Camelback, but probably is best-known for Oak’s much-acclaimed predecessor, St. Francis.

If Urban Fraiche’s name sounds familiar, it may be because it’s a spinoff of the Urban Fraiche Lifestyle, a furniture, home goods, and boutique store located a couple blocks to the east.

Urban Fraiche Restaurant’s menu features wild-caught seafood, chemical-free steaks, and a variety of locally sourced produce.

Appetizers include basil marinated grilled prawns and chargrilled octopus.

Entrees range from Jidori chicken to classic beef Wellington to vegan moussaka eggplant.

Open for lunch and dinner daily.
