Brazilian steakhouse Rodrizio Grill opens in northeast Phoenix

🇧🇷 Rodizio Grill, a Utah-based chain of all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouses that made its Arizona debut in Mesa in 2016, has opened a second Valley location in northeast Phoenix.

It takes over the former Outback Steakhouse building in front of the Harkins theaters on the southwest corner of Scottsdale and the 101.

Rodizio Grill, the first Brazilian steakhouse in the U.S., was founded in 1995 by Ivan Utrera, a native Brazilian who was a marketing director for Pizza Hut.

The menu offers rotisserie-grilled meats, including its signature tri-tip sirloin steak called maminha, carved tableside by servers dressed as gauchos (South American cowboys).

In addition of more than 15 kinds of beef, pork, poultry, and seafood, there’s a gourmet salad bar, 13 Brazilian side dishes, and six Brazilian desserts.

Prices for adults are $36.99 for lunch and $51.99 for dinner. You can do just salad bar and sides for $25.99 for lunch and $29.99 for dinner.

A full bar features Brazilian beers, wines, and cocktails.

Open for dinner Monday-Thursday and lunch and dinner Friday-Sunday.
