🌮 Mexico City’s El Califa de Leon, the world’s only Michelin-starred taqueria, is holding a four-day pop-up through Sunday at Westgate in Glendale.
The pop-up will run noon-10 p.m. each day in the former Wicked Wolf space in front of Desert Diamond Arena.
Only three meats – gaonera (beef filet), costilla (beef rib), and chuleta (pork chop) – will be available, along with two kinds of salsa and white corn tortillas. Tacos are $8-$12 apiece.
It’s the taqueria’s third Valley pop-up in two months, following others in Phoenix and Tempe that drew lines up to two hours long.
