Amoroso rolls & attitude: Eddie’s Philly opens in Chandler

🥖 Philly has landed in Chandler – cheesesteaks, attitude, and all.

Eddie’s Philly Cheesesteaks & Hoagies, a no-frills East Coast-style sandwich shop, has opened on the northwest corner of Dobson and Elliot, bringing a serious dose of South Philly swagger to the East Valley.

Eddie’s doesn’t mess around. The griddles sizzle with thin-sliced ribeye and piles of onions. Amoroso rolls – shipped straight from Philly – get stuffed with melty Whiz, provolone, or American, your call.

The menu’s tight: cheesesteaks, chicken steaks, hoagies, and not much else, but everything’s done with purpose and pride. Owner Eddie – yes, there’s a real Eddie – is a Philly transplant.

The vibe? Loud, fast, friendly. A few tables, some Philadelphia Eagles posters, and “The Rocky Theme” occasionally blasting from the kitchen.

Whether you’re a homesick Philadelphian or just craving a proper sandwich with some East Coast grit, Eddie’s Philly is a welcome punch of authenticity.

Open for lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday.
